A naive FBI agent obtains an incriminating video of a Presidential candidate, eight weeks before the election. The agent tells the campaign that the candidate must drop out, or he'll release the video. Someone decides a better plan is to get the video, and eliminate the agent.
Tasked with obtaining the video, Win James instead ends up saving the FBI agent, then must protect him from several parties who want him dead. It is up to Win to figure out who the variety of bad guys are, who they work for, and then convince them to stop what they're doing.
No Good Deed is a fast-paced tale filled with intrigue and suspense, as it highlights the duplicity and ruthlessness of the political machine, all with the author's trademark wit and humor.
Danny, Hank, and Regina are back, chasing the monster storms of tornado alley. This time, they’re looking for more than tornadoes; someone is killing people in towns hit by storms, and using the chaos and destruction to hide their crimes.
With the FBI looking in entirely the wrong direction, they set out on their own to find the killer, and stop them from taking more lives, while dealing with old friends and a few new ones, all along for the wild ride.
Win James is an ex-Army combat vet, and a former government intelligence operative. He's still a spy, but one who works for the best boss in the world: himself. He is educated, smart, experienced, and highly capable. At the same time, he's a guy from rural Florida with a fondness for Waffle House, football, barbecue, and boiled peanuts. He is relentlessly frugal, clipping coupons, and looking for killer Groupons. He based his operation in Detroit, because of the cheap real estate.
He takes a job, involving a little light espionage, and soon finds himself being targeted for elimination, as someone tries to cover their tracks. It doesn't take him long to figure out that what he swiped from the corporation might not just get him killed, but millions of other people, as well.
The Spy Errant is a gripping tale of espionage and romance, filled with suspense and action. Nicholas Blue's expert storytelling and attention to detail make for a highly enjoyable read that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
Danny McGraw is sarcastic, snarky, a little OCD, and has an eye for the ladies. He is also one of the best storm chasers in the world, he and his team often getting far closer to dangerous tornadoes than anyone else will dare. After saving the life of a woman and her child, video of the rescue goes viral, making Danny and his chase partner Hank instant celebrities.
The next tornado season, the team agrees to let a BBC crew tag along, broadcasting to the world as they chase storms. They've barely gotten to tornado alley, when two Homeland Security agents intercede, and tell them that their team has been targeted by terrorists. They are advised to "act normal", let the agents do their jobs, and capture the terrorists.
Lacking confidence in the Homeland Security agents, Danny and Hank decide to find the terrorists themselves, all while continuing to chase storms, deal with the BBC, and elude the throngs of wannabes and groupies attempting to follow them everywhere.
A Little Light Chaos is an often humorous look at what happens when dangerous endeavors intersect with the ravenous social media monster.
Orel Doon works for a large shipping conglomerate based on Luna, where he’s lived his entire life. Suffering from a terminal case of boredom, he heads out to Saturn, and picks up his best friend from a mining operation. Together, they “borrow” one of his company’s starships, and set out to have an adventure.
This turns out to be even more of an adventure than anticipated, as neither Doon nor his friend know much of anything about starships, or for that matter, much of anything outside the shipping or mining business.
Together, they bumble their way across the galaxy, collecting new friends and enemies, learning as they go, while engaging in a little light piracy, and the occasional bit of smuggling. While none of this is boring, it’s nothing next to the revolution they inadvertently start.
Dubious Heroes is epic hard science-fiction, space opera, and an irreverent look at who we are, versus who we want to be.
